Civilneer started from a specific, repeated problem on cross-section drawings: a printed slope, elevation, or offset value can be correct in isolation, and still be attached to the wrong feature on the sheet. That kind of mismatch is easy to miss in a manual review and easy for a tool to miss too, if it isn't actually resolving which physical line or point each annotation describes.

Civilneer's review process is built around resolving that ownership question first — which line or point does this label actually describe — before it ever compares a measured value to a printed one. That ordering is deliberate: a confident measurement of the wrong feature is a false pass, and the harder, less visible kind of error to catch by eye.
Scope
Roadway cross sections today.
The current focus is slope, elevation, and offset verification on roadway cross-section sheets. It's a deliberately narrow starting point, reviewed against real drawings and refined against real engineer feedback rather than expanded broadly before the core review is solid.
